Newly condense sulfa drug have been prepared by the condensation of Sulphaguanidine
with benzoyl isothiocyanate ( BbsgTC).The sulfa drug was characterized by elemental
analysis and spectral method. The metal complexes of NiII ,ZnII, CoIIand FeII have been
prepared by the reaction with BbsgTC ligand. The analytical, spectral and magnetic
study data support the Tetrahedral and octahedral complexes respectively. The
biological activities of ligand and their complexes have been studied by screening the
compounds, against micro organisms such as E.Coli and S. aureus
