Assessment of physico-chemical parameters were carried out during throughout the year Feb.2010 to Jan-2011 from Chulband River at Dodake-Jambhali in Gondia District. The various parameters such as Velocity, Temperature, Colour, Odour, Taste, Turbidity, Transparency, TDS, TSS, TS, pH, DO, BOD, CO2, Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Chloride and Phosphorous were analysed. The results revealed that there was significant alterations in the physicochemical parameters and most of the parameters were in the normal range and indicated better quality of river water.
