Time and resource management (Planning and scheduling) are important task in construction projects. For th is work huge amount of paperwork is required, which makes management very burdensome. These problems can be solved using a project management software which helps to give a planned approach to planning using Microsoft project. Most commonly used software for time and resources managing are Primavera & MSP (Microsoft Project). These software helps to accomplish task with precision and meet the project objectives within time. It allows managers to develop project successfully fulfilling project resources demands on time. We are using MSP (Microsoft project) for our Project work. Our project includes scheduling of project with the knowledge of activities and reducing the wasting of time, resources and money on a multi-storied building. Our study concludes MSP (Microsoft project) is an effective tool for generating Gantt chart which reflects the schedule of a construction, offering minimum duration of construction time, managing resources and budget for construction project, tracking progress of construction project, analyzing workloads of construction project.
