Zooplanktons are cosmopolitan in nature and they are found to inhabit all fresh water. The present study includes the analysis of zooplankton by using diversity indices i.e. Shannon weaver index during the year September 2015 to August 2016. A total 25 species were found in the lake. Four major group of zooplanktons were identified, those are Rotifera (10) ,Cladocera (07), Copepod (06) and Protozoa (02). Among the four group rotifer are the dominant species in the lake. The result indicates that the diversity and productivity density is maximum in this lake.
