Physical and chemical parameters of water samples like temperature, turbidity, total dissolved solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, total hardness were analyzed for water samples around Satara city, Satara District of Maharashtra-India such as in August 2016. All Parameters were within the Permissible limits. The results indicate that the water is Non-polluted and can be used for drinking purpose.
