Description :
Kudali River is one of the tributary of Krishna river in Satara District. It originates near Kedamb in Javli and meets the Krishna from the right about 1.60 km south of Panchvad in Wai tahsil. The present study refers to the physicochemical factors of water and Ichtyofaunal diversity in this river during the period of two years from October 2014 to September 2016. Fishes were collected from different sites of river with the help of local fisherman. During study period totally 31 fish species belonging to five orders, thirteen families and twenty five genera were observed in the river Kudali. All these fishes are economically important due to their food value. The results were discussed on the bases of physicochemical parameters of water and diversity of fishes.
