The present study deals with histopathological changes in Mastacembelus armatus fish infected with cestode parasite during the period June 2015 to June 2016 from Solapur and Osmanabad dist (M.S) India. Histopathological methods are becoming quite common in diagnostic methodology in aquatic animals for a long time (Klontz, 1985).This method advantage to classify the disease because in some situation parasite hide.Moreever, histological studies of tapeworm have been studied to find the pathological changes and extent of damage of the intestinal layer of Mastacembelus armatus.
