Abstract
The importance of vermicompost as a potent plant growth promoter that increases soil fertility and palatability of leafy vegetable has been well recognized in the present study. Vermicompost, chemical fertilizer and garden soil (Control) were used for chemical nutrient analysis and to find their effect on the growth and palatability of leafy vegetable, fenugreek.
The study conducted for a period of two months showed distinct differences between
vermicompost, artificial fertilizer and garden soil (control) in terms of their chemical nutrient content, plant growth and sensory evaluation of fenugreek.
