The present study was carried out with a view to have an understanding about the
pollution status of water from Tumsar area ( Bhandara district) particularly water
quality in vicinity of industrial area. Evaluation of physico-chemical parameter was
carried out. Twelve samples were collected from various selected sites. The analysis of
parameter using standard methods and their comparison with standard values
suggested that most of the parameters are within the permissible limit. The present
paper accounts water quality of various sites of Tumsar area in Bhandara district.
