Description :
Conducting polymers are of great importance for a wide variety of applications due to their
low cost processing and flexibility for optoelectronic devices. These materials are useful for
sensor applications because of their electronic properties which are sensitive for specific
target analytics due to molecular interactions. The present investigation aims to study the
effect and use of benzoic acid for the design of anisotropic structure of well known conducting
polymer Pani. The Pani was synthesised by hydrothermal method in presence of benzoic acid
as a dopant as well as a template.
