Description :
In present work the ability of Granular activated carbon in combination with
2-cholro benzoic acid to adsorb Cobalt ions from aqueous solutions has been
investigated through batch experiment. The adsorption isotherm of cobalt on Granular
Activated Carbon at temperature 25 ± 10C has been determined and the experimental
adsorption data showed good correlation with Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm
model. The GAC -300 exhibited a high potential for the removal of Co2+ ions as
compared to GAC -200from aqueous solution.
